Membership runs for a full twelve months regardless of the date of joining. Upon joining the club you will receive a welcome pack including a copy of our constitution, a NHC standards booklet and a journal which is published monthly as well as up to date information on forthcoming shows. You will thereafter receive a journal plus schedules for upcoming shows every month.
We hold a number of shows each year which are held at galas, agricultural events, community centres and halls. All our shows are worth a visit. Some of the shows have a Pet Class which we hold for the public. Our pet class is for any small ‘n furry pet such as hamsters, rats, mice, guinea pigs, gerbils and rabbits. Please check out the show schedule to see which shows have a pet class. From time to time we also hold displays so we can inform the public on hamster related subjects such as different species of hamster, colours, etc, and tell them about our Club.

Paperless membership provides you with all the benefits of a standard membership with the only difference being that any information, including the monthly journal and schedules, are sent electronically by email rather than through the post. This is eco-friendly for all.
You can select from Adult, Partnership (2 or more people), Junior (must be under 16 years of age), Young Adult (16 – 18 years of age), Family or School and all cost the same.
Paperless membership is £10 per annum and standard membership £20.
